Kaveri dispute: Possible outcomes

Annavaru aadu: Kaveri yeke ooduvae nanali preethi illave? (Why do you run Oh kaveri. Dont you love me?)
This sentence suddenly has life and it has become life and death implications for kannadigas. Not only we get screwed on kaveri but future issues also.
How on the earth can law be so easily perverted? I sometime wonder why Karnataka cannot investigate the tribunal members bank accounts and other dealings. I am sure we could unearth some clues.

I also was wondering what could be a silver lining if existing award has to be implemented. Some things could go well.
1. Consolidation or Awakening of Kannadiga pride. Which will hopefully translate in to a positive pressure on govt (both state and central). So called mannin makkalu rulers are strangely silent.
2. Hopefully a regional party will come to power (Wishful thinking?)
3. Good opportunity to reduce the hindi influence in Karnataka.
4. More people will move from primary occupation to secondary and tertiary occupation. Which will result in more people being literate and improved standard of living.
5. Efficient useage of water both agriculture and domestic
6. Compulsory rainwater harvesting.
7. Better croping (cash crops). We will leave the paddy growing downstream.
8. Lakes in Bruhat Bengalooru back to life. It better be done we wont have any water to drink.
